Jared brings a diverse legal background. He has served as an Associate Lawyer specializing in Civil Litigation, Criminal Defence, and Family Law with firms in Calgary and a general practice firm in Drumheller, Alberta. Jared was called to the bar by the Law Society of Alberta in 2018. Jared completed a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2015. In 2022, he completed the Principal Training Course offered by the Law Society of Alberta and has been a mentor to articling students. Jared has demonstrated proficiency in various legal domains, including Criminal Defence, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Corporate Law, Employment Law, Wills and Estates, and Real Estate.

In 2016, Jared dedicated his time to the Elizabeth Fry Society of Calgary, where he served as a volunteer, volunteer coordinator, and research assistant at the Calgary Courts Centre. In this capacity, Jared contributed to programs focused on Adult Criminal Court, Youth Court, and Traffic/Bylaw Court. He was actively involved with the Pro Bono Students Canada Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project and the Student Legal Services of Edmonton Criminal Law Project in 2013-2014. Jared is a past president of the East Central Alberta Bar Association and a member of the Criminal Defence Lawyers Association.

Jared is committed to providing strong legal representation and protecting the rights of his clients, shaped by his previous work with the Elizabeth Fry Society of Calgary. He has extensive experience in the criminal justice system and a deep understanding of criminal law procedures. Jared obtained his Master of Laws degree with a focus on Criminal Law, and has supported the professional development of others in their practice of criminal law.
