Namra Latif practises exclusively in criminal defence at White & Jeet Criminal Defence, representing clients throughout Alberta at every stage of the criminal justice process. She is committed to providing strategic, thoughtful, and client-focused advocacy, recognizing that every case has a unique story and every client deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Namra approaches each file with careful preparation, strong legal analysis, and practical problem-solving, working to achieve the best possible outcome while ensuring her clients understand the process and feel supported every step of the way.

Before joining White & Jeet Criminal Defence, Namra completed her articles with Student Legal Assistance at the University of Calgary, where she represented clients in sentencings, trials, and Charter applications. She has also worked on complex criminal appeals, Indigenous sentencing matters, and administrative proceedings. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, where she developed a strong interest in international affairs, armed conflict, and human rights.

Namra is particularly passionate about advocating for vulnerable and marginalized individuals. As a first-generation immigrant, she has a particular professional interest in representing vulnerable immigrant populations facing criminal charges and understands the significant personal, cultural, and legal challenges they may encounter when navigating the criminal justice system. She believes effective criminal defence requires not only a thorough understanding of the law but also an appreciation of each client’s personal circumstances, allowing her to provide practical advice and principled representation tailored to their needs.
